Last Sunday, two amazing things happened in the city of Boston. The first was the unusual high temperatures during a gorgeous fall day which brought out everyone; the second was this couple’s engagement session. We took advantage of the warm late September day and explored the many sites Boston has to offer. Thankfully, the city can be explored in a day - From the ‘dirty watah’ at Castle Island, to the picturesque site of Acorn Street, The Boston Common and Fenway Park.

I love to create portraits for couples who are perfect for one another.  Honestly, the connection was so strong between them; I hardly even had to pose them.  They were naturals!

These two love birds met while at Penn State and even after six + years, he still treats her like a queen. Since graduation, they have traveled between New Jersey and Massachusetts to see each other practically every weekend. Talk about dedication!

With the long distance also come different upbringings. She’s a Red Sox fan, he cheers for “the other team”. If they can work through this, they can work through anything. Just kidding! That’s not what defines their relationship. They share many interests from their love of family, traveling, sports, working out and everything in between …. They belong together like peanut butter and jelly! I cannot wait to see where the next chapter brings this couple.

This engagement session was filled with warmth (not only thanks to mother nature), lots of love… and laughs. This couple has a great sense of humor – from the Michael Scott quote to the posing at Fenway – They were up for anything! I loved spending the day with them! We had a blast!

When he proposed to her, she said “it’s about time”. They plan to tie the knot in 2015. I think everyone agrees “It’s about time!” we see more of this adorable couple in the future! :)
