"Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. Dreams are forever." ~Walt Disney

The imagination of a three year old knows no bounds. The things they pick up on, the wonders they discover on a daily basis, the excitement that this age brings. So what do you do when your three year old want to be a mermaid princess that has the same color hair as her? You make her dream come true.

For months now Miss J has fallen in love with the idea that she could dress as Princess Ariel for Halloween. I have to admit, I was pretty excited about making my favorite childhood princess come to life as well. And so the Halloween adventure 2016 began.

In keeping with tradition, we opted for a homemade outfit. After a lot of research and an afternoon of sewing with Grams, Miss J was transformed.

After witnessing her excitement while dressing up, there was only one thing left to do ~ Bring Princess Ariel, along with Sebastian and Flounder, to the ocean’s edge and let her imagination run wild. Like Ariel, Miss J's curiosity and spirit lit up our entire session. The images of her singing and dancing will forever bring a smile to my face. I love what I do because I get to keep and cherish these memories, for I know one day, just like Ariel, my little princess will want to be a part of her own world.
