Family portrait showing a beautiful bond Monday I had the pleasure of spending time with one of my most favorite families to create portraits for. I’ve known this couple for many years and have watched their hearts grow with each little blessing that has entered their lives. Just look at them! They are beyond adorable!!!!

Each little blonde beauty has the family’s amazing blue eyes, but certainly has different personalities. The girls are some of the most well mannered children I have ever met. So happy and honest – one even asked, giggling, “Mom, why are we meeting in a parking lot for pictures?” upon meeting up with me for this session.

We have met several places for portraits over the years; this time I choose a location that would be symbolic of where they are now in their lives. Giving them a backdrop to let their strong family bond shine. Brick warmth symbolizing structure, family, faith - the perfect foundation as the family is setting out for new adventures far away.

The warm brick buildings made for a great contrast for their coordinating outfits. By spending time with this family, I’ve come to understand a new phrase; It is not “good-bye”, but rather “see you soon.” Although I am sad that this family is moving hundreds of miles away, I am so proud of them for starting a new adventure in their lives. I am also thankful for technology knowing that I will continue to keep in contact with them and get to watch them grow. Thank you for sharing your family with me. Best of luck and see you soon!
