"True love stories never have endings." - Richard Bach

From the moment I met this couple, I knew their wedding was going to one of my favorites. They are fun, caring, giving and so much in love… The perfect combination for a lifetime of happiness.
I arrived on Saturday to the Bride, the Groom and their family putting the finishing touches to this picturesque wedding. I’ve never witnessed a bride and groom work as hard as they did on their wedding day. Family & friends traveled from all over the USA to be part of the celebration. The Maid of Honor and Best Man were the most attentive and certainly went above their given roles.
The wedding was held at a private residence in Williamstown, MA. If you have never been to this section of the state, I highly recommend it. The scenery is gor-ge-ous! The Bride and Groom met here while attending Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.

I admire the attention to detail that this couple showed. It was evident when I captured their engagement portraits and shined even more during their wedding. From their country attire to the table décor, every detail of their wedding had meaning and was seamlessly executed. The Bride grew the most beautiful sunflowers that her Mom then handcrafted into vibrant bouquets. A friend hand brewed kegs of the most delicious beer. They asked their groomsmen what their favorite entertainment icon was… little did they know that they would be wearing them as boutonnieres instead of your typical flower. The Bride even surprised her Groom with a Spider Man on their wedding cake, made by the Bean Counter in Shrewsbury, MA. She’s a keeper. :)

We captured their portraits by the wrought-iron gates on the MCLA campus. These gates once hung on the Murdock Hall are opened only twice a year, for first-year students to arrive through and for graduating seniors to leave through. We were fortunate to arrive and find them open, which created new symbolic meaning for them; the start of their new life as husband and wife.

Clouds throughout the day made for dramatic backdrops. The sun peeked its head for about 15 minutes – just long enough to set the tone for the awesome wedding party shots. A very special 4-legged VIP (very important pooch) was part of the bridal entourage.

It was an honor to be a part of this special day. It was certainly a wedding I will always remember. Best of luck for the future, Mr and Mrs. xo
